Andrew Meaney earned his Bachelor’s Degree in English from SUNY Stony Brook. He obtained his law degree from Hofstra University School of Law.
Andrew Meaney is uniquely qualified to represent his real estate, foreclosure defense and debt relief clients due to his extensive experience in the mortgage and banking industry. Prior to becoming an attorney, Andrew owned and operated his own mortgage branch for almost a decade, providing residential and commercial real estate loans, and managing sales teams of up to 15 people. Since his admission to the New York Bar, Andrew often provides legal consultation to major New York law firms involved in multibillion dollar Mortgage Backed Securities (MBS) litigation.
In June 2012, Andrew and his brother James established Meaney & Meaney, P.C.
At Meaney & Meaney PC, Andrew focuses his practice on commercial and residential real estate transactions, deed and title issues, as well as wills, trusts and estates. He also maintains a robust foreclosure defense practice, which includes litigation, loan modifications, short sales and other loss mitigation options. Andrew also aggressively represents clients in traffic violations and criminal matters, including DWI’s.
